Marlboro Filter #2 Size:26x19 The exhibition was held at"Marlboro Filter Filter Flavor Flip Top Box" featuring one of the very first iterations of the iconic "Marlboro Man" campaign. Before focusing exclusively on cowboys, the campaign featured various "manly" archetypes like sea captains, construction workers, and, as seen here, a rugged outdoorsman. The tattoo on the hand of the model was intended to symbolize past military service and further emphasize the character's rugged, heroic background.
