This particular plant comes from the population on Gunung Sakumpang which is much rarer and more robust than the boschiana from Gunung Besar

The female veitchii used was a lowland clone from Sungai Samba while the male parent is the famous MT burbidgeae x edwardsiana/villosa

The Pasian form of truncata grows in the same range as Nepenthes robcantleyi and can be grown well under highland conditions (although we keep it in our lowland room with our other truncatas and it does well there too)

We can't guarantee germination since we have never grown this cross out but we have inspected all pods and they have obviously viable looking embryos. Nepenthes seeds are best sown on a layer of milled sphagnum moss or well leached coco peat above a more traditional Nepenthes mix. They should be kept in a moderately well lit area (50 100 ppfd). The seeds need to be kept wet and humid in the 60 80 temperature
