Mid-19th Century Patent Cast Iron and Brass Acorn Match Safe monks the toy does roll when(dated) 1862 Antique figural match safe on a cast iron base. This piece takes the shape of an acorn and sits on a matching cast iron base adorned with embossed acorns on branches with large leaves. The area beneath the cap bows forward to allow the user to access matches and rolls back into place on its own.
