Constructed of silver, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Bavarian royal crown, around a central depiction of a monoplane flying over a rural landscape, the reverse marked with a silver content number of 800 and initials C. P. for Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen, measuring 11. 43 mm (w) x 17. 51 mm (h), weighing 2. 3 grams, in extremely
