The style of the century Tegels Bernard Koldeweij (1859-1898)In this ambitious book Bevis Hillier cuts a wide swath through social and decorative history and gives a far ranging view of the twentieth century, from Edwardiana and Art Nouveau to the Swinging Sixties, the Cynical Seventies and beyond. The book is about the way we live, as well as about art styles and taste.
