All plants in cultivation owe their lineage to a single mother plant (the type specimen) which was in bloom at the time of taxonomic collection

We’ve found Nepenthes macfarlanei to appreciate highland conditions but it can grow well under intermediate conditions as well

This is an EP cross and exhibits beautiful peristome coloration and a red/pink body when grown under cooler condiitons

We expect lots of gorgeously flared and striped peristomes accompanying the vigor that comes with maxima and veitchii crosses

We can't guarantee germination since we have never grown this cross out but we have inspected all pods and they have obviously viable looking embryos. Nepenthes seeds are best sown on a layer of milled sphagnum moss or well leached coco peat above a more traditional Nepenthes mix. They should be kept in a moderately well lit area (50 100 ppfd). The seeds need to be kept wet and humid in the 60 80 temperature
