A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic bearing a double-stamped inscription of(Tapferkeits und Verdienstauszeichnung fr Ostvlker I. Klasse Gold mit Schwertern). Instituted 14 July 1942. Constructed of gilded zink, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed starburst, overlaid by a central raised rosette situated within a circular laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centrepiece, the reverse with a barrel hinge and tapering vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 49. 45 mm
