Hyalite Opal WMineral:8g It is a one-of-a-kind andHyalite is a type of potch or common opal, meaning it does not have the color play that precious opals have. Due to amounts of uranyl, a uranium residue, it fluoresces a bright white or green under UV light. The chemical formula for Hyalite is SiO2 nH2O.
