Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of ALLES FR DEUTSCHLAND (EVERYTHING FOR GERMANY) in Fraktur script. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN, circumscribing the firms classic squirrel logo.
