Queen Anne's lace-like flower heads

who acquired it as a pass-along plant from her grandmother

I was taken (not literally) by this tetraploid mutation of Hosta 'On Stage' when I visited Hans Hansen's Minnesota garden

Hosta 'Atlantis' is a superb tetraploid mutation of our Hosta 'Abba Dabba Do' from Michigan's Hans Hansen

Trachycarpus fortuanus fortunei nanus Alcea Queen Anne's lace-like flower headsWe are thrilled to offer just a few of these special hybrids, a cross of two windmill palm species, the typical full sized windmill palm and the dwarf Trachycarpus nanus. This is a new cross and we don't know what to expect from the offspring, so these are for gardeners who love to experiment. These are in extremely short supply and will sell out quickly. Thanks to German plantsman Jost Wallis for sharing seed.
