Lost in Mood 1 Armoires Reflecting the trend of blendingLost in Mood is an exceptional study in composition and color theory. In this elegant work on canvas, the figure ground perspective is brought forward through the perception of the foreground in relation to the ground. The foreground is rendered in a blurred wash of sky blue, pale teal, and faint indigo with a brush of maize. The ground is sharply defined by distinct vertical shapes in maize, lilac, and khaki with a shock of alabaster in the center.
