Victorian 15k Gold Scottish Agate Bangle georgian Chester 1884DATE: Victorian, c. 1870 A stunning antique Scottish bangle set with cut agate and malachite panels; orange, green and black in colour. The piece is double hinged with a clasp at the back of the band, to fit a 6. 5 inch wrist. The gold is finely hand chased throughout, with intricate Celtic knot and floral foliate motifs. An exceptionally high quality piece, unusual to see in 15k gold Scottish jewellery of this era is normally modelled in silver.
