Antique 19th Century French Gilded & Painted Cylinder Desk by Paul Sormani 1875 Recently Added The bowl of the spoonSOLD A fine late 19th century antique French painted & gilded mechanical Cylinder desk, by Paul Sormani, circa 1875. This very elegant antique cylinder desk by one of the preeminent French cabinet makers of the late 19th century. The desk having a mechanical auction when the drawer is opened the cylinder top retracts to reveal a recessed pen storage area and two removable glass inkwells, both original to the desk. The fold out writing surface having
