Garden Quartz Flying Eagle Hand-Carved Intaglio Reverse Lens Carving (Video) turtle 5cm labelled plastic specimen displayThis is an exquisite lens of Garden Quartz with excellent clarity and multicoloured inclusions of 'Garden', that has been reverse 'Intaglio' carved with an eagle with wings in the air, about to take flight. Intaglio carving is the process of etching out a design from the rear, so it can be viewed as a 3D picture from the front. This process is done by hand by master carvers and is a painstakingly long process to complete each individual masterpiece.
